Proven Worldwide – Landmark Projects & Critical Applications

Porsche Design Tower – Miami, Florida Luxury Sky Garages

Vertical Assembly Building (VAB) – NASA Kennedy Space Center Historic Rocket-Assembly Elevators Mode

Mobile Launch Platform (ML1) – NASA Kennedy Space Center Mission-Critical Personnel Elevators

Three fully custom auto-elevators that transport vehicles and passengers directly to private apartments 60 stories up. Dual permanent-magnet drive systems, ±3 mm positional accuracy using redundant laser + encoder feedback direct to Allen-Bradley drives, and full safety PLC redundancy throughout. The ultra-low-profile car shuttle demanded motion control precision never before achieved in a residential tower.

Mobile Launch Platform (ML1) – NASA Kennedy Space Center Mission-Critical Personnel Elevators

Selected after the Porsche Design Tower success, FGR replaced chronically failing controls on NASA’s Mobile Launcher 1 elevators that were repeatedly entrapping workers. Our modern safety-rated system delivered thousands of consecutive entrapment-free cycles under the most demanding launch-pad conditions.

Four massive 1960s-era elevators in NASA’s iconic VAB failed new performance certification. FGR integrated modern DC drives and redundant safety I/O with original motors, solved unprecedented front/rear landing separation challenges (<120 mm), and delivered systems that remain in reliable service supporting Artemis and beyond.
